Scandinavian is committed to using environmentally responsible products. We have adopted our own Green Approved Program, which meets or exceeds the stringent standards placed on environmentally responsible products.
In looking out for the environment, we are also mindful of taking care of our customer’s best interests, ensuring the products we choose strike a balance between sustainability, performance, and price.
We choose our cleaning products based on the following environmental standards:
- No alkyl, octyl or nonyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs, OPEs, NPEs)
- No ozone depleting compounds
- Zero to low hazardous waste characteristics
- Low or no volatile organic compound content (VOCs)
- No persistent, bio-accumulative or toxic chemicals
- Cold water effective
- Recyclable containers
This commitment is supported by Scandinavian’s suppliers, who are constantly monitoring the development of new environmentally safer products.
